Tire Inflation Machine

Video shows the previous version of this machine.

Description

The MEP-24 takes tire pressure out of the operator’s hands. The wheel is held in a fixture, the valve is pulled out automatically, and the tire is inflated to the pressure set on the HMI, within ±0.1 bar, while the pressure is monitored throughout.

Target pressures are stored as recipes, so every wheel of a model leaves the line at the same pressure – no hand gauge, no guesswork at the end of a long shift.

An optional inner tube pre-inflation step partly inflates the tube before it is fitted into the tire.

It needs just 350 × 380 mm of space, runs on 220 V single phase with no three-phase supply required, and can be fixed to the floor or the ceiling, so it goes exactly where your line needs it. OPC UA is standard.

  • Inflated in 5–15 s. Depending on tire size – a standalone station for the final assembly line.
  • Valve pulled out automatically. One less manual step before inflation.
  • The right pressure on every wheel. Target pressure set and monitored on the HMI.
  • Takes almost no floor space. 350 × 380 mm, 70 kg, with optional floor or ceiling fixation.
  • Connected from day one. OPC UA as standard: send orders to the machine and read production data back from your office systems.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Pressures are stored as recipes on the HMI, up to 80 of them, so the right pressure for the model is selected rather than remembered, and every tire is inflated to within ±0.1 bar of it.

220V single phase, 50/60Hz – a standard socket, not a three-phase connection, so siting it is not an electrical project.

Yes. OPC UA is standard on every machine we build, not a paid option, and every machine conforms to EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. If you are working toward a connected line, nothing here holds you back.

Reading and writing the machine’s order table from an office PC over OPC UA.
