Machontrol is the machine brand of A. J. Saraiva Lda, a Portuguese engineering company founded in 1998.

We design and build automation for bicycle manufacturing: standalone machines for pre-assembly operations, floor assembly lines and custom machines. Everything is done in-house in Portugal – mechanical design, CNC machining, welding, electrical wiring, PLC programming, assembly and testing – so the person who answers your question about a machine is usually the person who built it.

More than 100 of our machines are in service across 7 countries. Every machine conforms to EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and has OPC UA communication as standard.
