Chain Cutting Machine
Description
The MDC-26 cuts bicycle chains to the exact length each model needs. No counting links by hand, and no chain leaving the station one link short.
The pin is pushed out by a servo-controlled press, not a pneumatic cylinder. Force and stroke are controlled through the whole movement, so every pin comes out the same way – the side plates are not bent or stressed, and the result does not drift with the air pressure on your line.
Chain lengths are stored as recipes on the HMI, so the length that runs is the one approved for that model, not one set by the operator. At 850 × 420 mm, below 74 dB and on 220 V single phase, it sits beside an existing pre-assembly station without taking over the floor.
OPC UA is standard, so orders can be sent to the machine and production data read back from your own systems.

How fast is it?

Does it need a tooling change?
Only between chain sizes. Within a size, every model runs from a stored recipe on the HMI, so there is no manual adjustment between models.
How much floor space does it take?

Tired of cleaning the cutting area?
Not with the MDC-26. The chain is separated by pushing the pin out with a servo-controlled press. And the roller rings does not get stuck in the tool, so there is nothing to clear out between chains – the operator just loads the next one.
